Smart Phone & Hand-held Charging Cart
The footprint is just 2-foot square to save space when you don't have an inch to spare! (And there’s still room for your laptop.) Roomy numbered bays hold 40 mini-touch devices. As an extra bonus, caster feet provide a handy footrest, relieving back strain. The separate locking IT area on the back of the cart protects and conceals chargers and cords away from the main user area. Tight spaces are a breeze for Cindy, our Executive Assistant, given the maneuverability and small footprint of her charging cart. Ever the engineer, Brent points out how the door’s locking system engages in two places with a strong steel rod to provide extra protection.

No small potatoes!

Transport, charge, & store 40 small devices, like smart phones and the iPod® mobile digital devices, in this easy-to-move cart. The cart’s tiny footprint tucks into corners to save space. Roomy bays hold devices in the front User Area, along with a cubby for your laptop. IT managers will love the separate locking IT Area in back.

  • Storage Galore

The Smart Phone and Hand-held Charging Cart holds 40 devices, like smart phones and the iPod® mobile digital device. Bays measure 7/8”w x 4.75”d x 3.75”h to hold most common devices, with or without a case. Bays are numbered to show at a glance which devices are docked or in use. Bonus storage area below measures 11”w x 13”d x 13.5”h.

    Small Footprint

The cart’s size (just 2-foot square), 4” locking casters, and 18”-wide handle make the cart easy to move through tight spaces. Doors open 270° so they open flush against the cart. Move wherever you want and lock the casters down. And because all the casters lock, you can set the brakes from any side of the cart.

    Separate IT Area

The back of the cart contains a separate locking IT compartment which protects and conceals chargers and power outlets, away from users. Route cords from the front user area through pass-through openings to the back IT area. The large area is 11.25”w x 5”d x 14.5”h, plenty of room for your cables and adapters.

    Dual Purpose

At 42” high the cart is high enough to put your laptop or projector at a convenient height without blocking your view of the room. Caster feet provide a footrest to relieve lower back strain. Store your projector and other peripherals in the optional metal drawer at the bottom of the cart.

    Security

Keyed locks on the front and back door protect your devices. The two-point locking system engages the door frame in two places with a strong steel rod providing extra security. Tilt them up and rotate to open each door. Each cart door comes with hasps for your padlock that block the door handle and keep it from opening.

    Laptop Storage

Keep a laptop up front with your devices and leave the IT area locked. The laptop storage cubby in the front User Area measures 11”w x 2”d x 13.5”h and is located under the device bays. Route the laptop’s power cord into the cart’s cable management system so the connection is positioned right where you need it.

    Cable Management

Devices quickly connect to the power cords positioned at the front of the bay. Clips hold the cords tightly so they stay where you put them. Cords run from the front of each bay, along the bay divider and through a small opening to the back IT area where cords are bundled and the power adapter is plugged in.

    External Power

Three external outlets provide convenient power access for your projector or laptop. The on/off switch directs power to all the cart's outlets. Use the cart anywhere with the lengthy 14-foot long power cord. Wrap the cord on the cable hooks when not in use.

    Trouble-shooting Guide

The link label on the inside of each door links you to the cart's owner's manual, trouble-shooting guide, and updates from Anthro. Scan the QR Code on the label and you're there!

    All the Details

    • Compact, mobile cart stores, charges, and transports up to 40 devices like the iPod® mobile device and smart phones. Need to charge larger devices like an iPad® Mini? Choose Anthro’s Tablet Charging Cart!
    • The cart was designed with a very compact footprint (2’ square). At that size, it fits between rows of classroom desks and other tight spaces, it’s easy to maneuver, and it tucks into any corner when not in use.
    • Storage bays (7/8”w x 4.75”d x 3.75”h) hold your iPod or smart phone, with or without case. Numbered bays show at a glance which devices are checked out.
    • Separate locking IT area at the back of the cart holds chargers, cords, and outlets away from users.
    • Cords run along the top of the bay divider to position the power connector at the front of each bay with enough slack and tension to plug into your device without strain, and so you can see which devices are connected to power.
    • From the front of the cart, cords run along the top of each bay divider through the center panel to the back IT area. The pegboard panel holds clips to bundle each cable to organize individual cables cleanly.
    • The power column has 42 receptacles, and the cart comes with ten 4-port USB charging hubs for devices that charge with a USB cord. Plug the cords into the hub, and plug the hub into the power column. Hub has four 500mA ports. Do your devices need more power? Choose the two-port hub (part #955BK) which has two 2.1-amp ports, sold separately.
    • External power panel has three power receptacles, on/off switch and an indicator light that shows when power is directed to the cart's receptacles. The cart's single power cord is 14'6" long to reach any outlet. It’s easy to reach, recessed under the handle.
    • Laptop cubby at the front of the cart (11"w x 2"d x 13.5"h) connects to the back IT area for power.
    • The cart charges all forty devices plus powers your laptop and the external power receptacles — all at once!
    • That 42" height makes it a comfortable teaching station with room for your projector. Top shelf has 1/4"-high lip to keep pens and pencils from rolling off.
    • Keyed locks on the front and back doors engage a 2-point locking system for security. Padlock hasps position your padlock to block access to the handle.
    • Scan the QR code inside each door to access the owner's manual, user guide, and additional resources.
    • Add additional storage for headphones and other peripherals with the optional storage drawer, sold separately.
    • Optional Sync Kit is a 10-port USB hub that connects 10 devices at a time to your laptop for wired syncing.
    • Four 4" locking casters and 18"-wide round handle make the cart easy to move.
    • Ships assembled.
    • Tested for Safety: Anthro charging carts are tested by ETL to UL standard 60950.
    • Materials: Steel with baked-on powder coat finish. Wood surfaces are medium-density fiberboard wrapped in a highly durable thermoplastic laminate that resists cracking and stands up to regular cleaning.
